School icon-schedule

Heeeeey :D How's school going? Mine's going pretty well, I'm a 7th-grader now and we got chemistry and physics and biology and I'm so excited. So I picked this theme cause I like to craft things in my free time and I'd like to show you an idea how to make something cause I'm bursting of inspiration lately hahaha xD But since we already got homework (yay -.-) I don't have much free time so this is the simplest idea. Let's do this :D
*PLEASE NOTE I AM A TERRIBLE DRAWER AND NOT EVERYTHING WILL BE RECOGNIZABLE*

1. You need: -sticky papers
                      -scissors
                      -coloring pencils

2. So I have a big sticky paper so I cut it to little pieces. They didn't turn out the same but whatever xD If you have little sticky papers you can use them instead. Just make sure they are big enough to draw on, you don't want ladybugs (that's a phrase used in Croatia, it means something really tiny xd)

3. Make a checklist of all the classes you have and put a tick when you draw a sign of it.

4. Drawing time! This is what I drew:

a) Languages: I have a class called Croatian, it's where we learn our mother language, Croatian. It's like english in the US, you know? So I wrote CRO and colored it in red, white and blue stripes cause that's the Croatian flag. You can do that with your mother language, too. For example, If you're German you can write GER and color it in black, red and yellow (I also learn English and German so I had to make that, too).

b) Religion: Well, I am christian so I made a cross but you can make a symbol of your religion.

c) Chemistry: So I love chemistry but we only just got it so I don't know how those bottles are called so I'm just gonna call them tubes xD So I drew tubes, the triangle-ish ones (yes, that's a word in Lora world XD) and those tube-ish tubes xD and colored them so it looks like some liquid is in them (gosh why can't we have chemistry every two days).

d) Geography: Geography and I are arch enemies. I liked geography before, if you call geography knowing where a state is and what's its capital city... xD So I drew a globe cause duuh but the continents look horrible but I told you I can't draw xD

e) History- I had no idea what to draw and it came to me - why not to draw a hourglass. It doesn't really have sense but whatever xD The important thing is you can recognize what subject the icon is for.

f) Art- So I drew a color palette cause it was more simple but my first thought was to draw color stains like this.

g) Music- I drew some notes and 5 lines that represent a musical box (I'm not really sure how it's called and google translate is no help at all).

h) Biology- so I drew a rabbit. Rabbits are cute plus I didn't know what to draw so how about a rabbit. And grass and sky...

i) Maths- call me crazy but I like maths xD I drew 1 + 2 cause that's like the first thing you learn about maths xD

j) PE- lol :''D Well I drew a basketball cause that's the best thing about PE for me. You can draw a football or something.

k) Physics- yas let's hear it! Who likes physics? This gurl, right here ^^ So I drew an atom and lines around it. There were suppose to be protons or neutrons or electrons or whatever on the lines but i didn't wanna draw ladybugs xD

(Update: I drew this cause I saw it on The Big Bang Theory and they're physicists, thought we only mentioned atoms in physics but we're studying them thoroughly in chemistry.)

Heya guys :D Sooo I'm gonna talk about how to eat healthy when you're loaded with homework and activities. Let's start.

Well first you need to know how to manage your activities (Tonka told you how to do that, kinda). So here are some snacks that you can easily make and are also healthy. You can eat them while studying for an exam or doing homework.

To travel the world, that is my biggest wish. Haven't you all wondered how come the world is so beautiful? Eiffel tower, The Statue of Liberty, etc. oh, and not to forget the beautiful coasts. My pick: The secret diary of Adrian Mole by Sue Townsend

I really like this book cause the main character is about my age (he's 13) so I can kinda relate to him. I read it at the beginning of this year but I don't remember everything. And I read the second part, too, so excuse me if I mix up the actions in them.

-There are some lines that I find awkward to read, but that's my opinion

Summer fashion

Hey guys! So sorry I didn't post last week. My theme that week was summer fashion but since we're doing fashion this week I thought ''Why would I post the same thing twice?!'' So here's my post.

I'll start with some swimsuits.

I like Lucy's swimsuit here cause it's simple. You can throw on a simple jacket like Dove (idk what this is).

School

Helloooooooo!!! Lora here :) I know the title is simple and boring but I'm excited and not very able to think. I have an important presentation later, wish me luck.

I'm a good pupil, I've got mostly A's, couple of B's... I don't like waking up early or leaving school really late but if you don't go to school, you'll end up brainless and stupid. Teachers are there to support you, encourage you and help you. And you may hate the strict ones but, trust me, the stricter teacher-the more you know.

I heard on yesterday's news that Croatia is saving money to build a school in Africa. They interviewed a couple of students that go to a school in Ruanda where one of Croatian priests is teaching and they were all happy to be in school, to learn so they can get a job and help making their community a better place to live in. They asked them what do they wanna be when they grow up and there were lots of answers like doctor, shoemaker, baker... They also interviewed one of the teachers and she said she worked hard to learn English so she can teach children in Africa and when she had a final coming up she would study hard because she wanted to help those children. And she said to herself to never give up so she can become a teacher and teach Africans. I'm very proud my country because of it's noble gesture to help Africans and build them a school they can go to. And what about mentally disturbed kids? They learn in a special way cause they're not able to learn the normal way, like you and I do. There is a girl like that in my street and she goes to a special school. She can't talk but you can see she's happy when a van comes to pick her up. You'll say ''She's mentally disturbed, how can she know where she's going and be happy about it?'' Well, how do you know she doesn't know? She is disturbed but she is smarter than she seems. What I'm saying is you should be happy you can go to school.

That's my opinion on school. I know it's not much but as I said, I'm not very able to think right now xD

Friends...

Hey, Lora here! This is a story about my friendship and friends.

When I was little, just a toddler, I played with my cousin. He's a boy and he's younger than me. There are only boys in my street (today there are girls but they are like 7 years old). And I played boy games: I was a goalkeeper in football and I played with toy cars.

In kindergarten I was a great friend with 3 girls, let's call them E, M and H. Nothing special happened in kindergarten except E and I had a crush on the same boy but that's not very important. Frankly, I don't remember much from kindergarten.

Mom and dad

My parents:

My mom is not very tall, she wears glasses, has green eyes and brown hair that she recently dyed red. She helps me with my homework and studying. She is kind and funny. We watch movies and crime series together. She's always there for me. Well, not always cause I have a younger sister and she's a jealous type (she's more jealous then me and trust me - I'm VERY jealous) and every time I hug my mom she suddenly appears from nowhere (but I still love her sososo much <3 ).
